In case your laptop/computer is lost or stolen, SDR’s support team can perform an IP locate function. This allows you to detect the ip address of your laptop (once it is connected online). In many cases, the IP address can be used to further locate the lost computer and restore it back or do other legal actions if necessary. This locate functionality is Internet based, it waits until your lost laptop is connected back online.
Eradication
Our Secure Wipe Out Technology (S.W.O.T) solution allows you to secure your data beyond the step of backing up your data online. In case your laptop/computer is lost or stolen, we can send a remote wipeout command to remove all sensitive data from your lost/stolen device so that it is protected from unauthorized access.
